Hello to all. I wanted to let everyone know a little bit about me as I begin working in this wonderful school and town. I have been a superintendent for 12 years and in education for 25. Throughout my journey I have been a teacher, coach, principal and superintendent in Colorado, Kansas and one very cold year in North Dakota. I am excited to work with the school board and current team here in Mountain Valley as I believe that this school district embraces the ideals that I have come to base my career on. It's a student first mentality that honors the individual and pushes everyone to achieve their own personal greatness. I hope that the students and parents will appreciate our student centered focus as we begin to implement some unique opportunities for students to grow and excel. I'm looking forward to meeting all of the staff, students and parents in the coming weeks and months.
