School is in full swing at Mountain Valley School!  This week is shaping up to be a big one as we prepare for homecoming.  The theme for this week is The Indians’ Last March.  There will be plenty of fun activities this week as we celebrate Mountain Valley School, including a parade, a pep rally, and an abundance of athletics.  Come on out and support our athletes.   Please check the Sagtowners Facebook group for a list of events and times.

Students from preschool to high school have also been participating in our 2021 Homecoming Spirit Week.  I love the excitement of the kids as they get to dress up for pajama day, sports jersey day, twin day, tourist day, and MVS pride day!  Our fantastic staff also show their school spirit by joining in the fun.

We continue to be diligent in our efforts to keep your children safe.  In cooperation with the Saguache County Public Health and our Board of Education, we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation in our community and re-evaluate plans that we feel are in the best interests of the students at Mountain Valley.

As many of you may know, my family and I have worked overseas for the past 8 years.  One thing that I truly missed is the beautiful Colorado autumn weather and the opportunity to be on an American school campus where everyone shares a common goal.  My family and I are lucky to call Saguache, Colorado, and Mountain Valley School our home.  As always, we will continue to look for ways to improve the educational and social experience for our students.  Please feel free to reach out to us if you have questions, comments, or praise to offer.
